Better still invest the £65000 in bookmaker's shares. :icon_wink Problem is that it does not give the instant gratification so craved by those addicted to gambling.

I doubt that, its not as profitable as you might expect.

Sounds like a plan Steven. All we need to do now is find someone who thinks they have a way of beating the bookies so we can take all their money :icon_wink

Joe_! JOE_! Come over here - you're wanted!

But they're different though aren't they? Not a game of 'chance' with the odds stacked against you.

They are similar to fruit machines, in that the questions get easier the longer it has been since its last payout. So effectively, it decides when to screw you over by chucking in a real nasty question. I appreciate there is still some skill involved, but they are far from random!

Ocean Finance in Tamworth was set up by a guy who went in pubs and knew the system in Fruit Machines and was later barred from each pub as he emptied them all.

He then sold his business for something ridiculous like a couple hundred million (i think).

yeah, right

I don't know - it makes some sort of sense. The type of geezer who has the bottle to watch some playa pushing a hundred quid into a bandit and then, when he goes up to the bar to get more change, stepping up to claim the payback is probably just the sort of person to persuade the indebted that they'd be better of signing over their home to him.

£200 million for Ocean finance seems rum, though.
