Serious questions have to be asked to the league. The number of games and lack of recovery time is a killer. Just look at other clubs injuries.

We have a lot of gaps in the schedule in January, no midweek matches at all, and maybe a free Saturday if we get knocked out of the FA Cup.

So It wouldn't surprise me if some of the postponed matches end up being played in the next few weeks, before we get the Africans back, and before we get any injured defenders back.

At the moment we only have the FA Cup game and games against Burnley away and Brighton at home in January if the Norwich game is called off, if there is ever a good time to have a load of players out for 3-4 weeks this is it.

So, to summarise. We currently have the following players missing due to injury:

Justin, Fofana, Evans, Benkovic. Bertrand. Soyuncu, Ricardo, Vardy and Daka.

After Saturday, we add Amartey, Ndidi and Iheanacho to this list due to the ANC.

So, we're fine for keepers and midfielders and we're fecked up front and at the back.

The PL seem to be pressuring sides to rearrange cancelled matches for January. This afternoon, BR was very forceful in his press conference that he was against this - for obvious reasons. However, it does seem to be just shifting the problem along. Whenever we play, we'll just have a slightly different long list of absentees.

I think it's now two years since we had a full squad to pick from. Over time, it's just getting worse due to a combination of a ridiculously demanding schedule and a club seemingly incapable of keeping players fit.
