They are professional footballers, yes. They are also human beings. Going to an illegal party during a legally enforced lockdown is completey ****ing stupid and, quite rightly, those who were there were given the disdain they deserved. Going to the darts with your mates on your day off is perfectly acceptable.

Should we not allow doctors or nurses to go to the darts in case they contract it and can't go to work? They should be protected infinitely more than a footballer. What about fire fighters or Police officers? Should we ban them as well?

Serious questions have to be asked to the league. The number of games and lack of recovery time is a killer. Just look at other clubs injuries.
