er i am calmCalm down.. it's there.. isn't that what you wanted?
you'd think they could have made an official statement of some kind
i realise this now-i just couldn't find it when i went on there. They have. I found it on the sunderland site last night.
I would be surprised if he plays again.
Daily Express says it was an "epiletic fit".
If this is correct it would be in his medical records which TNBD said were personal.
If all this happens to be true - and who knows at this stage - I would have thought too that he would not be allowed to play again because of insurance reasons.
Is defibrillation the normal procedure for dealing with an epileptic fit? Any Doctors, Nurses or paramedics out there?
Fortunately, it was the best place for it to happen as a defibrilator was to hand - dread to think what would have happened if it was during training. Really hope he recovers so he can lead a normal life, if that involves playing football I'm not too sure.
All i've listened to all day is forest fans moaning about, 'oh you had subs didn't you' - Hopefully they will see this and understand that the players life was far more important than some poxy game.

Got one at work whose first words were that this morning...
'It's just like a player having a broken leg.....'
