Not sure if boring is the correct term being used, anxious may be more suitable?

Yes - the gut feeling of supporters is usually more or less spot on.

At the end of the day, the spirit of the Trust's position is that it can't accept change that diminishes its position...the fact that the club would remain without any real chance of competing on the big stage again, and would probably continue to decline seems less important to the Trust.

Going with Manderic presents serious risks......but it also provides hope and that's what it's all about. To start off with a Manderic takeover is going to massively raise the spirits of the supporters and that will impact on the team. Given the insipid character of the club, we all need a bit of excitement now...it's time for the shareholders to throw the dice.

Re: Should MM's offer be accepted?

Please don't reply to this thread, it's JUST A POLL. Any replies will be deleted.

The poll is private so people won't know what you've voted for, but for information, I've voted 'don't know'

Jeff

It seems odd that you have deleted a post from this thread on the grounds that it may influence people's vote, but you have then told people where your own vote has gone.

Why are other people not allowed to state the destination of their vote?

My poll was also closed down for a while on the basis of it being biased

Jeff was getting mardy because the MM wave of support was growing :icon_lol:

I stated quite clearly that posts would be deleted, but in fact rather than delete them I moved them here. Which is where you should have posted

I don't think saying who I voted for will influence anyone. The reason I said who I voted for is because I have been repeatedly accused of being anti Mandaric, which I'm not, and I was also accused of starting that poll because I didn't like the way the vote was going, which is also not the case, I just thought it was important to start a poll with no loaded question and no influence from people. I don't think me saying what I voted for would influence anyone, but I will remove that bit just in case people are that easily swayed :icon_roll

Bollocks. It was nothing to do with the way the vote was going, I've said more than once I know the majority of fans would vote for MM, I just wanted a poll with an unbiased question. Also I'm not the one with a history of multiple voting in polls :icon_roll
