Can anyone help with Trains to Derby?

Me and my friends are looking into getting the train down there for the game at PP. Since I have probably been on train 3-4 times in my life. I have no idea where to start, so any help would be appreciated. There is 5 of us going if that makes any difference?

what is the best tube and then train to get back to leicester after the qpr match??

The tube from White City is approx every 5 mins, and takes on average 25 minutes to get back to Kings Cross/St Pancras.

You need to take the Central Line (red) to Oxford Circus. Then the Victoria Line (blue) to Kings Cross/St Pancras.

I would allow a good hour to get back to St Pancras, so anywhere around 6.15pm onwards should be ok.

More info on the tube here: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/
