I emailed the Club on Monday, and all pre-ordered tickets processed before they knew the price was reduced will be automatically refunded; I have received my receipt for the refund in today's post, and the money is back in my account, thankfully.

Got home last night to find a credit note for £13 in the post. Fair play to the club I say.

I'm not sure if this needs a thread by itself but perhaps we'll have to wait until the OS put the details out, but the Rotherham website details the Home Tickets for the game on 9th August assuming our away tickets will be the same price structure.

Prices are as follows:

Adults: £10
Concession (senior, student, disabled, juniors, juveniles, armed forces*): £5
Under 8s: Free (if accompanied by a full paying adult)

*Proof of concession must be provided when purchasing tickets

An announcement will be made shortly to reveal the day tickets go on sale.

I see the OS has this on the away ticket part which does not show the full range of concessions that the Rotherham site does

Can anyone advise the best deal on the trains for Saturday. I know the group save Leicester > Derby, Derby > Sheffield option but is there a cheaper way to do the Sheffield to Hull bit? Thanks.

£47-70 I see from Leicester to Hull
As you say the Leicester to Sheffield is broken down by day returns to and from Derby giving cost of £18-80

Sheffield to Doncaster is £5-30 day return
(for an extra 70p i.e. £6 in total a South Yorkshire Tripper gives the use of any train/tram/bus in South Yorkshire if you fancy going out in Sheffield afterwards
Doncaster to Hull £15-00 day return
Total £20-30
Grand total of £39-10

Cheers MoFo. do I need to change at Donny or does the same train go through to hull.

Depends which train you get on at Sheffield. Some go to Hull or Bridlington (stopping at Hull) where you don't need to change as all these trains stop at Doncaster. There are others that stop at Doncaster that go to Cleethorpes, York, Newcastle/Edinburgh that you can get on and then change at Doncaster and get on the Hull train, either the ones I mentioned above or the Doncaster/Hull link train details here
