Even if hooligans have 'rules', innocent people do get caught up in it. Last time I saw football related violence was at Wolverhampton station a few years ago. I was on the platform where it was happening and I knew I wasn't in any real danger, because I wasn't going to get involved. But the people waiting for trains - families with kids etc were understandably scared by what was going on around them.

They only brought about 45 so there must have been some very brave City fans to start it against those numbers!

Plenty of trouble in Vienna though if you were in the wrong place. Much of it caused by the RS fans grievance over City refusing to come to Belgrade.
