Yes Melton it's really surprising that he wasn't originally prepared to take less money to join Hearts.
Must be the first case ever - don't you think - that someone has haggled with a prospective employer to get a better deal.
Good luck to Hughes - clearly unsuited to championship football but he might flourish with Hearts because he does have some ability.

For the first time ever Redditch you're happy.
But I find it hard to believe that you're happy over a player that has contributed nothing to this club, actually wants to stay here and drain our finances instead of mving back to his home country to play regular first team football just because his wages will be less. Well TBH, I think he hasn't done anything to deserve being being in a position to negotiate with anybody. He knows he isn't welcome at this club, yet thinks he deserves more money from somewhere else.
I reserve the right to be pissed off about it.

What pisses me off is that he's been told to leave the club, he's clearly not wanted here, he's had an opportunity to go, and he "doesn't want to".
If I was MM, I'd be sacking the cnut now and paying up any compensation he might be owed and sending him packing.
There are various other costs involved in running a player including insurances, kit washing, boot cleaning etc etc.
He's a drain on the finances and if he's just staying here to get paid, we might as well pay him and get rid. Unless of course there are any grounds for dismisal without paying up then go for it.
He isn't a good player, he isn't in a position to negotiate. He obviously isn't interested in first team football, only a pay packet. I guess that explains some of his performances for the first team, he couldn't be bothered as it must have felt like involuntary overtime for him.

TBH having seen the useless shit play I wouldnt expect anything less. He looked like he didnt give a toss on the pitch and he seems to have a similar selfish attitude off it.
