If monday is going to be the great unveiling day that is being rumoured, then things will really be starting to warm up.

If Allen can unveil even any three of Hellings, Sinclair, Jarvis, McLeod or Best then i for one will start getting quite excited about the start of the new season.

Fair play to the hard work that seems to be going in.

He will still have a long way to go, but ALL of the above (with the exception of Hellings who is an unknown quantity) will be better like for like quality than the players that have been transfer listed. And that's all we can ask for.

Still need Holland, Cureton and full backs.

It would take some naivety to be too inspired.....the guy has allegedly been playing on an amateur contract!

Now I realise it would be appropriate for most of our players from last season to be on amateur contracts but....

Not really to be honest. If freebies take us up and Milan makes 30million (abatrary figure) on us then I couldn't care less. I don't support Leicester to make money so it concerns me not the cost of transfers if (and I appreciate the if cannot be resolved until the season starts) the players are good enough.

I get the impression (not neccessarily you HF) that some people on here would moan if the likes of Kaka and Terry were brought in on frees because we weren't spending enough.
