Will we need him if we sign Dogbra though? I have my doubts

Looks like he could do the business

he's still at least twice the player howard is - quicker, more skilful and a better player. let's not be silly about it. he's the best english target man there is, as evidenced by a sucession of england managers failing to find anyone better up to the present time.

Am I the only person who doesn't rate Heskey?

I'm too young to remember his time at Leicester - I saw him play, but **** me if you actually pay attention to players' individual performances when you are 9.

But yeah, for England and club sides since I've never rated him.

He's been up against some competition for the no 9 shirt - Crouch, Zamora, Bent. These three would waltz into the Brazil team if they were born in Rio!

Probably beats being 'merked' by him....

He was just awesome in his youg days. Goals against Southampton and Arsenal stand out for me and his performance away at Coventry, where he just bullied the entire defence.

Sure, this isn't ever going to happen, but it's a nice thought that he could come back to his hometown club, where he's still adored.

Samba, surely

Heskey has always been an easy target for abuse. He should never have made the world cup squad; he should never have left Wigan. And yes he is probably not a Premiership standard any more.

However....

I would welcome this guy back with open arms and be STRAIGHT down the club shop to get his name on my shirt! Any one who says otherwise is LYING ! (deep down)

The Mockery have their say on the matter Bruno does not rule out a move for Bruno

Leicester City assistant manager Bruno Oliveira has said Paulo Sousa is looking to recruit a big-name player – and did not rule out a move for former Blue Army favourite Emile Heskey.

What with all these Bruno's about all we need now is to recruit that Brazilian keeper Bruno Fernandes de Souza (if he's cleared of murder) to really confuse matters!:icon_bigg

Stick with Howard, he's obviously much better. :icon_roll

I don't know how much truth is in this, but I have just been having a chat with my spurs supporting mate via email about gallas and he said his cousin works at the walkers and there has been a lot of faxes flying about today concerning the return of Heskey!

Now he has no reason to lie to me but maybe his cousin is lying to him.:102:
