Would love it to happen, but can't see it. Mind you I still remember the frustration at his lack of goals when he did play for us, despite his performances. He seemed to regularly go 6/7 games goalless, but that was in the prem. In the championship he would be superb.

Yes thats quite likely - he's just come off playing for England at the World Cup & throughout the successful qualifying campaign, rated by players & fans alike for his goal assists & work ethic

Gerrard scored a beautiful goal to open the account against USA - what a beautiful flick-on by Heskey to split open the defence

I'd bet dollars to donuts, with DJ & Fryatt bagging 15-20 apeice feeding off him, Heskey would be the catalyst to shoot City into the premier league
