rated by players & fans alike for his goal assists & work ethic

:icon_lol:

Excluding everyone at Villa, natch, seeing as they hate the non-scoring lummox with a passion.

Don't know if you've noticed but teams tend to pack 18-yard boxes in the Championship which is why players who can pile in a 20 yard shot on target tend to be valued second-tier commodities.

The key to escaping this flight comes down to being able to unlock or circumvent defence systems - not play a pass through an already open one.

This may be a popularist move, but would it be a step forward? In addition to a transfer fee, Heskey would command a sizeable salary; he is coming to the end of his career and is injury prone.

Heskey was great when he first played for us, let's leave it there. Personally, I would prefer us to be signing up and coming talent and could see this, were it to happen, ending in tears.

Don't be so logical ;-) it has no place on this thread

1. Dele Adebola
2. Patrick Agyemang
3. Rowan Vine

Can't see him cracking that top 3 to be honest.

I wasn't being entirely serious...

Are you pissed up? Never in a million years and never wanna find out!

Some lad on Foxes Talk reckons it's a done deal. Followed up by some bloke on a Betfair forum with an odd caps lock problem.

Sketchy at its finest...

i'm not sure about his one but welcome back Bruno if it does happen.

I think he's a shadow of the player that left Leicester and irrespective of dropping down a division wouldn't score that many goals. He never has - and looks just cumbersome now rather than powerful.

That said, he would be a valuable player in the championship - obviously. But I remain more than doubtful if Leicester would be able to offer him big enough wages.

Best bet would be a loan with Villa coughing up most of his wages - but I guess that they would prefer to get rid of him through a transfer to another premiership club which is able to meet his wage demands.

Not having a go at you personally, but please let's all stop calling him 'Bruno'.

The player himself detests it and it is extremely insulting and disrespectful. It smacks of racial stereotyping.

Apart from the same skin colour, they have about as much physically in common as there is between Louie Walsh and Simon Cowell.

The fans called him Bruno because he was always on the deck.
