at the end of the day, your opinion and the opinion of others including myself, values to fcuk all. Its easy to make comments and assumptions on things within the club, and even easier to say who should stay or go. At the end of the day its down to MM. If he gets it wrong his money goes down the shitter, so if things dont go to plan he tries to do something about it rather than sit back.
Its easy to for you to say give IH more time and lets not fret if we drop a division, but that is complete utter bollocks. We go down, the gates drop, TV money is non existant, the good players we do have fcuk off and we have to start all over again in a division which is very hard to get out of, ask Leeds and Forest. But hey, its not your money you are calling the shots for is it.
If Holloway can keep us up, give him more time, but his job and others like it are always tied up by time and results.

I make a conscious effort to find out as much as I can about the people I end up in deep conversation with. Even if I don't agree with their opinions I try very much to understand why they have them, what makes them tick.

How will any manager prove himself before he is given a chance to do so?

They can't, but I've said that before, no one knows how a manager will perform or get players to perform. We all have different ways of judging managers and different opinions of what makes a good manager. Personally, I believe our squad is underperforming (I doubt many would disagree) and I put that squarely at the feet of Holloway (due to his tactics) and in my eyes he has now got to prove himself, and prove himself fast, or he has to go and we have to take a chance on another manager doing a better job.

This begs the question as to whether when people post their responses on here are they looking to have a discussion with someone with an opposing view, have a discussion with someone with a similar view, a mixture of both or with the idea of just expressing their opinion without any desire to engage someone/anyone.

I am sure that that there is a difference of intent amongst TBers and as such it is difficult to say whether any given post was intended for anyone. I suggest it only becomes intended for anyone if they read it and if they chose to read it, how can anyone complain?
