my phone got stolen from the lockers at work once, someone went out the staff room fire exit for a fag, left the door open and then a little while later some ****wit walked in and nicked all the wallets, coats, ipods and phones that where in the staff room.

I had insurance, and even though i had insurance O2 wouldnt pay out as it was in a building and they didnt break in. I had to pay the 10 months left on my contract.

I lost my phone in London today, and lo and behold by the time I got home soneone had found it and rang my home number up. They are sending it back to me. I didnt think there were many honest people left, it has made my day!

I think it's a pretty ****ing sad state of affairs when someone who finds your phone and wants to return it is automatically suspected (and might well be) a fraudster. And if this person IS genuine, then they are referred to as a "do-gooder". :icon_roll

Agreed my daughter recently left her phone on a bus and it got returned by some "do-gooder". Another left her purse in a shop changing room and that got returned to her with all money / cards still in it.

I will answer that if my phone returns. but I think there are honest people left just not many!
