It seems mad that we have to pay to get out of the country, whilst they throw money at people who come into the country.

I posted that after reading how the goverment is paying benefits for Polish immigrant workers children who are living in Poland.

I think the reciprocal arrangement is that somebody from the UK working in Poland, or where ever else, would be entitled to claim the same as somebody from that country.
So if they don't have child benefit in that country you won't be able to claim it.

that is pretty ****ed up, if a country decides its benefits payments then they should happen within that country

if i were on benefits here, i'd toy with the idea of moving to Slovenia or something for 6 months
