I keep meaning to ask (hope you don't mind), but forget...is it the "done thing" for the MD's PA to act like she (or he) is the most important person in the whole company?

not being in that position I can answer this fairly :icon_wink... occasionally some do act that way unfortunately, little hitler is a more apt term I think. Fortunately for me I share an office with the MD's PA and she is lovely.
