Sorry to hear that Matt. We had my Gran's funeral yesterday, which was tough, but also nice to share memories and remember good times. Hope you all can enjoy the memories you have too.
 
Sorry to hear this news.
Its always an awful time whenever you see your loved ones struggling, and although you want the best for them its sometimes a kinder act to let go. It would be nice if at the funeral, the family remember him with plenty of smiles as well as tears.

That's what we are hoping for.

Glad the funeral was OK ppf, I'm not looking forward to ours.

Thanks. After weeks of will the chemo work or won't it and not knowing, in some ways it is a relief. I don't know if that's selfish, but I hope it was a relief to him too. He never had any pain throughout the illness which is rare apparently so he was lucky in that respect.

Sorry to hear your news Matt. It's not selfish, it's about wanting what is the best in the circumstances and I am sure your grandad would have known and understood that.

Sun is shining, bike had been laid up over winter but started first time, wonderful ride. Life is good today. You can't beat a bit of sun.
 
I'm feeling great. Currently in the French Alps with my kids on a skiing holiday. Life is very good.
 
Liked death warmed up. Shitting through the eye of the needle. Stomach cramps. I think I might go to bed. :078:
