Darius Vassell with the winner in the first-half.

Gregg Cunningham stretchered off with leg/ankle injury - didn't sound good.

Great start to 2011! In Sven we trust!!

Re: Hull 0-1 City

Very big win that. Great to see a clean sheet too. Finally, away points in the bag. Cracking start to the new year.

If Cunningham is out long term we need to add a left back to the January list.

Re: Hull 0-1 City

Good win. Let's hope that gives a big psychological boost to the boys re: winning away games and beating their old manager.

Re: Hull 0-1 City

First away win since when?

Re: Hull 0-1 City

Ah, that's the perfect remedy for this bastard of a headache I've got. Happy New Year! Great result and very important - it can only persuade the owners to dig that little bit deeper now that the play-offs are that bit closer.

Re: Hull 0-1 City

I'm still having problems focussing today - I take it we lost again, just like I said we would?

Boo. Boo.

Sack the board.

Re: Hull 0-1 City

Hopefully the start of a run that sees us soar to the summit of the championship...

Re: Hull 0-1 City

Incedible that we are only 3 points behind 6th place after our run of disatrous away games. i know several teams have games in hand, but still. If only our away form was just a little better automatically promotion could have been a possibilty. This was a good start to 2011 (exept for the Cunningham injury)

Re: Hull 0-1 City

Great result boys in a high pressure, 6-pointer away from home

Eight minutes added time... must have been a nail biter for the travelling Blue Army :bang:

This to me was a crossroads match, that could define the season when we look back in May.

Play-offs anyone?
