if i was MM i would leg back to Monaco while i had a chance
If I were MM, I'd move RK to the training ground, bring in somebody whom I'd known for a number of years who had experience in the mid-high end of the transfer market. I know it's never popular when chairmen/owners do this, but I'd also oversee some of the spending.
Get Rid Now - Maybury, Hughes, Low, Douglas, Hendo, De Vries, Johnson, O'Grady
Unsure - Sylla, Stearman, Nissa, Kenton, Elvis, Weso, Sheehan
Defo Stay - Tiatto, Hume, PaddyM, PaddyK, McAuley
Defo Stay but Bench Warmers - Logan, Fryatt, Williams
I'd be fairly happy with this scenario. So long as they bring decent football to the ever wilting crisp packet I don't care if they are begged, borrowed or stolenKeep Hume, McCarthy, Johansson, McAuley, Tiatto (for one more season)
The rest can feck off
Sadly he's not putting that much cash in - so I suspect it will be keep everyone, buy one player and get in a couple of top notch loanees
No Kisnorbo Homer?
Whoops - yes, him as well
If i was MM i would give Harry Redknapp a call:icon_wink
GET RID ASAP: Douglas, Hughes, De Vries, Johnson, Henderson, Low, Sylla, Hammond, O'Grady, Wesolowski, Porter, Welsh
KEEP IN SHORT-TERM: Maybury, Kenton, Williams, Tiatto, Johansson,
KEEP LONG-TERM: McCarthy, Kisnorbo, Stearman, Hume, Fryatt?, McAuley?
I doubt you would see wholesale changes immediately (unless he brings in Barry Fry!!!). I would expect to see perhaps 3 or 4 players arrive, less depart - the squad is too small as it is - with further changes in the summer depending on where the team ends up.
Teams are built by progressive improvement - shipping in virtually a whole new team mid - season who have never played together is hardly a recipe for progress.
