Thats the best come back post at a Holloway lover I have seen Melts......:038::038::038::038:

Might I ask why people against constant change are labelled as "Holloway lovers" and must defend their "unreasonable position" whilst those that have bayed for the blood of each of our last dozen managers are not required to defend their desire to keep doing the same thing - despite a mounting pile of evidence that it does not lead to the desired results?

There was a compelling article in the Telegraph last week comparing the frighteningly regular changes of manager at Leicester, Coventry and Southampton with the stability at Bristol City - where, incidentally Gary Johnson didn't set the world alight in his first season. Is it just a coincidence that three ex Premier teams have all followed the same pattern and ended up in the same place?

If Holloway cannot even get the players to show some spirit and fight, then yes I fear we will not beat Stoke.
Are you blaming Holloway or the players?

Do you think Alex Ferguson or Arsene Wenger could get some spirit and fight from these players?. It's a hypothetical "throw away" question, but one I'd appreciate an answer to.

Because we are idiots for thinking how we do Diken. We must see the light and protest that Holloway is sacked. Its the only way to try and gain any credibility on this site!!

I am with you and have raised the points you mention previously but all you get back is "Holloway Lover".

Its nice to know there are other people on here with a balanced and educated view on things at Leicester though - that has cheered me up.

Because my issue lies with the attitude of the players and not one of them shows any pride, passion or committment in a Leicester Shirt.

If Holloway cannot even get the players to show some spirit and fight, then yes I fear we will not beat Stoke.

It saddens me to look at teams like Stoke, Bristol City and Hull, all teams who we used to be able to beat with ease, who all now seem so much better than us.

Oh yes I remember now that is Ian Holloways fault isn't it - in that case Holloway out! Holloway out! Peter Reid in Peter Reid in.

Is that not Ian Holloway's failing ? He cannot inspire the Players.Of course its not entirely his fault but it is a failing of a Manager if he cannot motivate surely

Poppycock. 99% of this forum supported Holloway at the start, as they should. I couldn't get a sensible answer out of anybody as to why he was being idolised.

Most people have now came to see the truth, the truth which is hidden by his bullshit.

You think, that people think you are an "idiot". Maybe this is because you still can't, or you refuse to see his misgivings and you expect to be called an "idiot". I don't think you are an idiot, obsession is an illness.

No, I do not.

I think Alex Ferguson would play Levi Porter in goal and that Wenger would stop the long ball to Howard game - both of which would be detremental to our current performances under Holloway.

Leicester City are like one of those shitty chav cars you see for sale in the Auto Trader. The kid spends a lot of money on parts and mods to make it perform/look better but by the time he's done with it it's hard to remember what it originally looked like. On paper it should perform better than it's original self but, after being thragged about by it's careless owner, it drags around it's arse like a fat bird in a pair of shorts.

£950 ono

Just like Holloway, you avoid the issues with "humour". I can take you no more serious than I can that silly man.

I can see why people would like to keep the Manager and that we have to learn that success will not be instant and it is going to be a long road back and I can accept that. However some of us cannot see even the slightest glimmer of hope and other than some decent signings cannot see any good or even the tiniest bit of improvement under Hollway. That doesn't mean we want every Manager sacked after 6 months.Could it be that Holloway just isn't very good? Is that so impossible to consider?

Poppycock to you!

What you fail to see is the points we keep raising but with your Holloway blinkers on you fail to see.

The club is rotten, and has become nothing more than a heartless shell, the comings and goings on and off the pitch over the past few seasons has ruined the club.

Either that, or we must be the worst employers in the world as time after time we recruit managers only to find out they are no good. Do you think that is coincidence Melts?

Fine, get rid of Holloway, I'm really not that bothered to be honest. But the best thing that could happen to us in my opinion is for us to be relegated, we rebuild the club from scratch, expell all the demons and come back stronger.

Getting in another manager is not the answer as he inherits all the issues the other managers have which given our position, speaks volumes.

If someone adores someone so much to the extent of being brainwashed by them then tbh there is no point in debating with them because they will see no bad in the person and refuse to acknowledge any faults or failings in them

Adore is a strong word, I prefer unequivocal love

I've given up reading your posts, Matt. Your head is up your arse and you you can't even see the questions I'm asking you. My children know how to answer straight forward questions better than you do.

You fail to see the point people are trying to make, and the fact that you can see absolutely no wrong in Holloway at all, when even Holloway himself would admit he has negative points, makes me believe you have some form of infatuation/obsession with the man.

I can't argue/debate/compete against a compulsion.

When I answer your questions, you don't agree with my answers. When I ask you questions, you respond by saying I don't answer your questions.

If you have kids Melts go and play with them rather than spending so much time waffling on here.

Unless I say Holloway is shit, I think Leicester are a worse team since he arrived, his tactics are crap and I see no future for him at this club, I cannot win.

So there you go, I have said it. The funny thing is as I said ages ago you started this thread knowing there isn't an answer you are prepared to listen to. So why start a thread ffs.

I like Holloway, you don't, there you go, end of story!

What's with all the Worthington bumming on here? I'm sure I remember most people being astounded as to why MM had brought in Wortho, and 6 points from 5 games wasn't exactly spectacular was it?

OK, I'm prepared to leave it at that. In fact I was prepared to leave it a while back but you don't understand stuff.

I'll just accept that you are a huge Holloway fanatic, I don't wish to detract from your opinion of him. I will now leave this conversation with the opinion that perhaps you love Holloway more than you love Leicester City. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's the image you've painted in my mind, and that's the one I'm walking away with.

A strange situation Melton.

I can't remember anything like this. We have a manager whose results are shocking and who appears to be a total dud and yet we have people with seem to genuinely believe that he should be given some sort of preservation order.

It would be a bit more understandable if he had some longstanding links with the club ....but he comes up the road from the West Country and a few silly articles and a disastrous run of results later and he is their local hero.

It's not for me to judge who somebody should appoint as their hero, as I too have people whom I admire that others just don't get. However, I'm more than capable of justifying why I admire them, and it's very rarely anything to do with their personalities.

But that's just me, and as this thread as proved, I'm no expert on understanding the minds of others, no matter how basic.
