I think if we stay up he will be booted out but if we go down he will keep his job,as stupid as it sounds

You might be right HF but whether we stay up or go down he needs to be sacked.

If we stay in the Fizzy get Billy Davies in and if we go down get Paul Ince.

"Stoke holds no fears for me as a manager. I have won four times and lost one in six visits." does that sum the guy up?

He'd be a truly hated man, though, HF - the only one to have taken us down to that level

There are a lot of fickle boneheads about,6 games into the Season and we are top of Div 1 he will be flavour of the month with a good few.Besides he's not to blame if we go down, none of this is his fault

He had better be ready for two in seven!

I was just quiet on the Ollie debate as I did not feel a change would have been a benifit, but after Saturday he can feck off.
In THE biggest game so far since he has been here he disappeared, moving Hume out the wing after he had caused them so many problems up front was priceless and the final nail in the coffin for me was changing Hume and Hayles and leaving the fecking donkey Howard on the pitch. I move further in one trip to the coffee machine than he does all game, I do it a lot bloody quicker and do not miss my mouth when I get there!!
Even though Hayles legs had gone he would have done more.

REALLY fecked off.

These quality tactics from IH have been there for all to see for months now.

Im not having a go at you NF, its nice to see people finally seeing the light, regarding this clown. But its also a shame that some on here still dont get it..........'Probably the thickest people in the world'

I agree Biff, like I said, I have been quiet until now as the whole 'who should be manager', 'he is shit' debate that has been going on for so long and never going anywhere, but after seeing him sit there on Saturday watching everything turn to sh*t (to quote Homer) and again fail to deliver, I have had enough.

Like i have read other people say, I like Ian Holloway as a person he does make me laugh etc...

But as a amanager he is terrible, infact almost the worst we have ever had.

I think everyone is missing the point about our current position, when IH was hired we had almost no hope of making the play-offs so Milan and IH hatched a plan to make sure city were playing for something right to the end of the season. IH is actually a master tactician who has engineered the whole situation, fear not he's planning on winning at Stoke (can't go wrong because he has only ever lost there once).

He's not made me laugh since he's been here, quite the opposite in fact.

He is making everyone else laugh - at us.

In response to the original question I can think of no reason at all why he should be here next year unless its as the manager of another club who are playing us.

I don't think that sounds at all stupid. There is a twisted logic to it and that idea has crossed my mind too.

However, as has been said, someone has to carry the can and there is going to be a lot of anger about because this would be an entirely unnecessary relegation given the club's playing resources - so I have my doubts if Mandaric could live with keeping Holloway even if tempted.

If on the otherhand, we stay up, then as you imply he should be even more surely doomed. We couldn't go into next season with such poor leadership.
