Get the clown out now. Put Tags in charge and take the pressure off the situation.

When IH said after the Weds game 'that was the worst game he had been in charge of ', it should have been his last comment at this club.

Don't rule that out
MM cancelled a flight at the weekend for a reason.

Bernie could lift the side better than the clown.

....come to think about it, the clown and Bernie have never both been seen at the same time :icon_eek:

I don't think that sounds at all stupid. There is a twisted logic to it and that idea has crossed my mind too.

However, as has been said, someone has to carry the can and there is going to be a lot of anger about because this would be an entirely unnecessary relegation given the club's playing resources - so I have my doubts if Mandaric could live with keeping Holloway even if tempted.

If on the otherhand, we stay up, then as you imply he should be even more surely doomed. We couldn't go into next season with such poor leadership.

MM has said privately and maybe publicly? that he is just the custodian of the club for the next 5-10 years, that the club is 'alive' and its the fans club.

Its the fans that have kept Hollow in a job, its the fans that will get him fired.

Naive 'Ollies Army' chants convinces MM that the fans are behind him, its easy to sing, 'Ollie' knows that
hence ' Call me Ollie' being his first statement.

He is the luckiest manager we have ever had.

The fans have been kicked in the balls so many times since MON, gone soft

Ollies Army:bang:

Quite - Holloway totally relies on the majority of fans as not being the brightest.

But what about stability blah blah blah. It doesn't matter apparantly that he has taken to the verge of relegation as we MIGHT be better next season (probably in DIV3)!!

Do one "Ollie" and don't look back you fool!!

Stability or improvement?

I'd strive for improvement any day.

And what about the previous few managers have also been rubbish - so for some unfathomable reason - we need to keep Ollie blah, blah, blah.

But the best thing that could happen to us in my opinion is for us to be relegated, we rebuild the club from scratch, expell all the demons and come back stronger.

Surely that's what should have happened when we came down from the Prem, a couple of seasons to consolidate and then an all out push for promotion? ... what makes you think anything will change in League 1?

One tactic IH did get right on Sat, keeping himself and the players in the changing room for an hour, while the media all went home. Spineless tw&t.

I wonder when the Ollie lovers will see the light? You can imagine the same thread at the end of next season with him still supported cause he calls nettles effing stingers etc. What a comedian, and imagine the stability arguement - we get to have a third season of shit as we are not sure if anyone can do a better job.

Boc, while your busy deleting my "off topic" posts in another Leicester City thread, which weren't really off topic. Can you take the time to sort through these 170 odd posts in this thread please and only remove those which contain the answer to the question I asked.

I'm not usually protective of my own threads, but I am now trying to fit in with the rest of the forum as requested.

Thank you.

you're :)

And if that's the only thing you have to say, then I have a point proven to me :icon_bigg

Melts, did you get out the wrong side of bed today?

The underlying issue is that you started this thread knowing there was not an answer you would accept. The only reasons for wanting Holloway to stay on are continuity of management for once, the fact he is a nice guy and that hopefully given time he will turn the big ship around that is LCFC.

But you are looking for answers like an improvement in results or performances that we all know currently are not there.

The fact I want us to stick by a manager for once and try and rebuild our team from scratch, especially if we are relegated, does not make me a Holloway lover. It means I unlike many am a realist and understand that there are few clubs, if any, that have been successful by changing managers and backroom staff on a regular basis. In fact, the teams that have done this, including Coventry, Southampton and Leicester are not where they are in the league by coincidence?

Getting rid of Holloway and putting in Dowie would be a complete waste of time. What has Dowie done in his last 2/3 jobs that make him any better qualified than IH?

So whilst I know you will not accept this as a valid answer to your question, this in essence is the anser to your question. If you don't like it, then may I suggest you don't start threads when you are unwilling to listen to a justified response.

Let's keep chopping and changing, it must work sometime, eh? It just has to work...It must be all the manager's fault, it just must.

I'm afraid it is true Alex, most things that have happened in the last 4 or 5 years are actually Holloways fault.

We were so good before he arrived, he must be sacked and replaced with another manager immediately, its the only way forward for Leicester City.

Melts, did you get out the wrong side of bed today?
I do sometimes try to take you seriously Matt, but when it comes to your obsessions both with myself, and with Ian Holloway, I know it isn't worth my time getting into a conversation with you.
