I think he'd be a good player at this level, despite his injury record.
However, £1mil is too much imo.
It makes me wonder what kind of a striker you think we could get for less than £1M.
If we have the money he is well worth the gamble. He is very talented.

Based on what? 8 goals in 56 league appearances?
No, based on what I've seen when I've seen him play and his appearances in the England Under 21's.
The fact that he played 40 odd times for a premier league side (and a pretty good one) and is still only 21 speaks somewhat to his potential.
IMO, he is unproven and I'm weary of signing such an injury prone and unproven player for a large fee.
£1m is not a large fee for a striker.
