Leicester City today confirmed that goalkeeper Marton Fulop had been recalled from his loan move by Sunderland.

Chairman Milan Mandaric revealed on Saturday ahead of the Foxes' game against Charlton Athletic that the club had tabled a seven-figure offer for the player.

However, Sunderland have activated a clause in the loan agreement to recall Fulop from his season-long spell from the turn of the year.

Meanwhile, talks remain ongoing between the two clubs.
