Re: Roberts and Savage

:icon_eek: What have I done to upset you?

Not my fault you forgot to send your predictions in!

You have done everything boc!!! Its all you fault, you should know that by now!

Re: kavanagh and howard?

Howard = Horsfiled. Great :icon_roll

With a decent midfield he will be a good signing... but we need players who can create and cross asap, otherwise it will be another Horsfield.

Re: Roberts and Savage

What's all this Kavanagh stuff? Our defence is fine, why do we need any more?

You did see us "defending" the corner in the last minute yesterday didnt you?

Re: kavanagh and howard?

= Cort = Nathan Blake = Dion Dublin = Mark De Vries = every other useless fecker we have signed over the years

Howard did score 16 goals last season but he is 31 and going nowhere slowly. :icon_conf

Re: Roberts and Savage

Presumably these will be swap deals for Cort and Kaebi. :icon_roll

Re: kavanagh and howard?

Is that code for "coming to Leicester"? :102:

In the case of Howard = Horsfield = Cort = Nathan Blake = Dion Dublin = Mark De Vries = every other useless fecker we have signed over the years, yes. :icon_conf

Well he is just an infant compared with Kavanagh who is 34 and so injury prone. He has been a useful player but is very much towards the end of his career.

Howard might be a valuable short term acquisition. We can't score goals so if he picked up an extra half dozen it might make the difference we need.

Overall, this is not a good time to be trying to build for the future. It is not likely to represent value for money - so a couple of short term measures plus Fulop (if we can find the money to beat off potential rivals) would probably be best.

We can all see the major deficiencies with the sqaud ( very large squad but little or no quality); virtually no midfielders; no pace nor invention on the flanks; no left back; two decent centre backs but neither make themselves heard like Walsh or Taggart etc; no reliable striker etc etc. But Holloway is not going to solve these in January.

Finally, if Savage was willing to come back to Leicester, we should sign him. He is seriously finished as a player but his personality would be useful in a team of nonenities.

I wasn't just thinking along the lines that he is shit. He is also slow, coming to the end of his career, under performing, not scoring and on a downward spiral. Actually, sorry - you are right :)
