Jimmy isn't listed on the PFA's list of available players.

Don't know if he was before today though.

Just spoken to a mate who was at the Marriott this afternoon and JFH was indeed there with Allen. Looks like it's happening. Lets hope that Murphy signs too. what a couple of signings they would be.

Sorry just to change the subject slighty for a minute.

I got a bit of a hard time off certain people on this site for wanting us to sign Robbie Fowler, could any of these people please explain to me why you would be overjoyed with JFH and not Fowler??

Again as with Fowler i would love it if JFH has signed for us but i just dont understand why some people saw Fowler a certain failure and JFH as the difference between us finishing mid table and top two???

I promise you i'm not. In fact i'd heard about that late this afternoon before i'd even come on the internet and read this mammoth thread! Person in question was there for a work meeting and spotted them. Quality signing - hopefully it happens. Seems to be too may people in the know about this one for it to be bullshit

IMO ... the signing of JFH would command a Press Conf ?? ... and to arrange at short notice on a Friday I would think is nearly impossible.

We only have to cast our minds back to the signings RN confirmed to realise they are not announced 30 seconds after they sign on the dotted line. Why everyone is panicing I don't know.

I am assured JFH is 100% signed.

Murphy may not be as clear cut as it 1st appeared, but I'm sure the club are doing everything possible to tie up any loose ends.
