Good evening,

Late this afternoon I had a chat with Darren Kenton and informed him that I think his opportunities here for the season ahead are going to be limited. Therefore, I feel it would be in his interest to try to get another club for which he will actually play for.

By informing him early it should allow him an opportunity to start afresh with a new club going into pre-season, as he is a good player.

The more that go, the better. If the transfer listed ones go (easier said than done I know), this means that the only bought in players remaining prior to MA's recruits will be:

McAuley, Kisnorbo (prob leaving), Hume, Fryatt, Henderson.

Pretty damning endictment of the recruiting skills of messers RK, CL and MA(snr).

Kenton is a solid Full Back.

Why get rid of him we are already short when it comes to Full backs!

yeah coz he won't get in th team, we have loads of quality full backs already!

Kenton wanted out and Allen is trying to make it look like it's all part of the plan.

Kenton look nothing more than OK in what is probably our worst defense for a number of years, although a slight improvment on 2005/2006.

He didn't shine amongst the dross, get rid of all the feckers as far as I'm concerned

Expects does not equal is. I believe I have seen other Managers from outside this League sign players they expect to be better than those they currently have.

Way more than one player will be brought in. In today's interview with Allen on LCFC World he said that the signings we have are just the beginning.

Kenton has been dog shite compared to most defenders in this league. This is one of the worst defences we have had in bloody years and you lot are feckin moaning when we decide to get rid of one of them. FFS lets get rid of all the feckin jokes we had here last year for all I care. Please try to get a grip on reality coz some of you people have completely lost it if you ever thought kenton was worth keeping, he wasnt even worth signing in the first place.

You are right when you say "as it stands", however more signings are promised so I think he must have players lined up that he thinks are better than Kenton. Kenton was only a squad player last season.

Agree 100% Kenton was and always has been bit part. We need better than him.
