Kenton is rubbish.

Seems a strange one though that its announced so long after the others and also that MA seems to think he is a decent player. Fall out?

This p*ssed me off.

I'm getting annoyed with giving Allen the benefit of the doubt, this is sh*t.

Kenton is a solid Full Back.

Why get rid of him we are already short when it comes to Full backs!

yeah coz he won't get in th team, we have loads of quality full backs already!

Kenton wanted out and Allen is trying to make it look like it's all part of the plan.

Bullsh*t!

I don’t understand what MA has done to have so many people lose faith in him so early. He has transfer listed players that were poor and disliked by the fans (RD, MDV, EH in particular) and those that never lived up to what they should have done (SH, AM). As for Kenton, he was always an average utility player, good to have at times of injury but never going to be a regular in a playoff-achieving team.

With regard to his signings, I don’t think he could possibly have won with some people. We were never going to be able to sign real, proven, in-form, in-prime quality because why would they sign for us? So he had to bring in slightly older, experienced, “good for this division players” (Kishishev, N’Gotty), players who have quality which no-one has managed to get out of them (Cort) and players with a good pedigree and real potential (Sappleton and in particular Hellings). I don’t know a lot about them, but I’m not going to write them off as disappointing signings before they have played, especially as I didn’t know much about any of our great players (Muz, Lennon, Guppy, Sav, Elliott etc. etc.) before they came to Leicester.

In addition, while we have a small squad now, there are 2 weeks to go until pre-season and 2 months to go until Blackpool. There will be more signings, I would like to think that they might include McLeod / Jarvis / , but whoever they are, I’ll happily judge them all once I’ve seen them play.

Has anyone else heard that MM has promised MA an additional £4MM to spend?

Guessing this was done after the others because Allen wanted to know he could get someone better in first?

Maybe now he's got Kishishev he's happy to let Kenton go. Maybe he was just a bit undecided on Kenton but after watching more tapes he decided he wasn't up to it?

Either way, I'm happy with it. The ones we've got left are the only ones who deserve to stay I think.

Mmmmmmmm.......

McAuley, Kisnorbo, Hume, Fryatt, Henderson.

Which one do you want out? I'd be happy for them all to stay, at least as backup...

I was thinking of Stearman, Wesolowski, and Logan - but I'm happy to add Fryatt as well

Clearing the useless feckin' dead wood out of this club

Top stuff :038:

Kenton would have been high on my list of players who are not good enough for a side with any ambition.

Milan /Allen are doing fine on the getting rid front.......they have or are trying to move on almost all the dead wood.

Give them credit where it is due......Kenton is a league 1 or 2 player.

We'd of signed no players without Milan.

dont agree, we signed players of the caliber we are getting in before milan arrived his arrival may have caused a lot of speculation and have us linked to every available player going because of his money but as of yet ive not seen anybody come to the club including our manager that proberbly wouldnt have come to the club had he not been here, there all on a free all be it n,gotty and cort are proberbly high wage earners but they were surplus to requirements at there club or at least only offered short term contracts and there quality in my opinion is no greater than what we were attracting before milan came, there is nobody at present that i can say we have only got because of milan or MA

So you dont think that Bruno N'Gotty and Carl Cort are any better than Josh Low and Andy Welsh and Elvis Hammond?

If Milan hadn't come in we would have had to sell or ease the wage bill to get anyone in.
Look at what happened in the transfer window in Jan. Williams went and we were able to bring people in - before that nothing!

Imagine.........Low and Welsh surging down the wings, dribbling past defenders who are sat on their backsides having been turned inside out and putting exquisite crosses over for our powerhouse striker, Elvis "the thunderbolt finisher" Hammond, eh eh just imagine.
