Not often do I have the chance to say this on here, but some of us told you so. Ok?

Some of us knew Andy King had potential and looked a very promising player when all around is were streams of negativity; which he has now thrown straight back at you doubting mongies.

Give LCFC youth players more of a chance. We may have a few more worthy of a break.

On the other side of the coin, I did also rate Stephen Hughes and Ian Holloway, so....

"he doesn't tackle", "he doesn't pass forwards", "he doesn't put the effort in", "He's not strong enough", "he can't play a pass". Give me a break.

I was waiting for this day.

I told you so!!!

Lazzer was saying to me last night he never saw King developing as he has and neither did I. That is what he has done though, developed. Well done to those that spotted the potential.

Clearly wont be here after January though :)

Let us not get carried away - he's doing well but it's only a couple of goals (plus one against Coventry). I saw someone compare him to Muzzy recently but come on, he has a long long way to go before he is held in similar regard as Muzz.

I hope he can emulate Muzzy, I really do.

Well, luckily MON is out of a job. I know he was very keen to take King last year but went for Delph instead.

It's only a matter of time. The only way to keep him is to be up near the top of the table come Christmas.

It may be a silly thing to say but i do think he actually cares about LCFC. I remember his celebration at the Cardiff City stadium last year, and again after his second last night. He looks like a man with passion to me. What's 6 months between friends?

ever since i saw him score a screamer from about 44 yards 4/5 years ago having come on as a late sub (can't remember who against), i've loved King. LONG LIVE THE KING.

I really believe in footballers being born and not made. Of course managers and coaches can tweak the qualities of footballers but the raw qualities need to be there. King for me seems to read the game superbly and drift into goalscoring positions with ease. His goalscoring feats from midfield are so valuable. The frightening thing is that he is only 22 and already seems like a seasoned pro. I don't think we'll will sell him unless a ridiculous offer comes in.

He's under contract until 2014 I think? (please correct if wrong)

Can't see Sousa, or the Higher Powers accepting an offer for him.

This is nice in principle, but as we're a selling club (along with most other teams in the division) I doubt we'd turn down a decent offer of a couple of million plus.

And as people have said, unless we look likely to get promoted, which is unlikely, I'd have thought he would want to go as well, lured by the money and the Premiership.

Not to sure if robots would be allowed to play football

I think he is already as good as Muzzy if not even a bit better all round.

Absolutely no way is he as good... YET. Muzzy was doing it at the very highest levels consistently for around decade, he is the closest thing we've had since though.

Is he better than that Messi guy we almost brought in?

PS. 1,000 posts! Can someone please send me a link to the inner circle sub-forum?
