I have never felt so dissapointed and let down as I was last year after the first pre season... game of <last> season showed us what we had to look forward to... Nothing can get worse than that and with hindsight he <Kelly> should have lost his job there and then...there was no preparation...they looked f*cked.

Silver Fox, let us know if you see them in preseason this summer & if you notice any appreciable signs of change/improvement... I think your assessments are absolutely right & there were rumours that Nigel Worthington found the team under-worked and under-trained, having too many days off etc. Hope Allen & his coaches & staff identify this.

What particularly annoys me about last season is the Luton away game - Luton were light years fitter and it made you wonder what the hell LCFC had done in pre-season, because it wasn't enough......and that set the tone for the whole damned campaign.
