It was awful - our performances in 2018 have been just dismal.
I'm sure Puel is a decent human being - but I now want him to go and be a decent human being at another club.

We'll probably go and beat Arsenal now.......

I’m only going to the Arsenal game because I’ve never seen us beat them. I don’t hold out much hope this tim but I’d be annoyed with myself if we manage it and I’m not there to see it.

I’ve stayed away from the last two games. If the signs are that we are sticking with Puel then the club will have lost a season ticket holder. I’ll be sad about it but I can’t justify giving over half my weekend to the tripe being served up at the moment. I’ll be back when we’re back in the Championship and season tickets are easier to come by again.

Things really are that bad. I’m in the process of buying a house and whilst things aren’t going to be so tight that I have to give anything up, I will be thinking about what I prioritise. My season ticket is currently close to the bottom of my list of priorities. I never thought I’d say that and I hope the club does something to change it. I’m not optimistic.

I think the attendance/embarrassment of the lap of honour will force their hand. If he stays until next week it’s because it’s considerably cheaper to bomb him out at the conclusion of the season. Or they are patently insane.

Snakes the sequel.

It’s one thing to not like the boss, it’s another to
completely down tools once again to force a change. As others have said, the club needs a clear out.

Seeing Fuchs go down toward the end, losing the ball, faking an injury whilst West Ham attacked and then jogging back as if in two minds to get back in position or continue to fake hurt is symptomatic of the player’s attitudes in general. You can hate on the coach all you like but some of the players are unprofessional and a complete disgrace.

Fuchs rolled his ankle.

Don't let facts get in the way of a tired, tabloid story eh? It's Fuchs turn this week I see.

Do you think every player we sign is a snake? This thick as pigshit narrative began well over a year ago. Before the likes of Maguire, Iborra, Silva, Iheanacho, Diabate, Dragovic, Choudhary ever played for us.

Use your fecking brain.

I would be a snake if I were playing under Puel. I'd be doing everything possible to get the useless lump out of the club.

Actually, he was one of the better refs I've seen this year.

Missed a definite penalty, or a sending-off. The choice was his and he bottled it

it can only go ways

1 The club back Puel and 8-10 players are shipped out

2 Puel is sacked and we wait for the end of the world cup to recruit a new side and manager

either way there will be a big clear out

The only way there is going to be a clear out is if the players want to go or another club wants to come in and pay their over generous wages.

Of course that's true - the majority of the current squad will be here next season, like it or not because that's how football works

I wish people would stop going on and on about a fantasy massive clear out of players, as if it's even remotely possible

FFS stop it

BN I don’t care what they say about you, I find myself agreeing with you 20% of the time.

The performances of some players has been woeful the last couple of months, even below what can be leveled at the manager. Clearly Puel lost the dressing room a while back, trying to implement changes that didn’t work and making tactical adjustments that often made little sense. He steered us to safety but then the wheels came off.

The owners are probably aware that senior players at this club have again let the club manager down, in what looks like an attempt to oust him. It’ll be the same for the next bloke that comes in. There are disruptive players at the club that need to be moved on.

.. And Fuchs was fine a moment later, he collected the ball, and sprinted down the line.

Seriously, mate, Fuchs went right over on his ankle - he wasn't faking anything

Took my 7 year old grandson to his first game. To say he was bored is an understatement. Has probably been put off football and LCFC for life.
Met some WHU fans after the match. They couldn't believe how we won the league or how shit we were yesterday.
We are the worst team seen at the KP stadium this season by a country mile.

We’re agreed that the reality is players can’t be fired so the coach must go. The point is how many contracts are up this summer - if these useless fecks can’t be moved on, will they disrupt and undermine whoever else comes in.

Morgan, Simpson, Fuchs, Benny, Hamer, and more, should not be anywhere near starting for an ambitious premier league team aiming to finish in the top 8. They are squad players.

1) If they want first team football they move on (highly unlikely any wld take a pay cut).

2) if they get the hump about being back up they should run out their contracts in the reserves.

3) The club subsidizes their wages for the remainder and they move on, unfortunately this is where we are most likely at. A consequnece of offering over generous contracts.

The Thais have plenty of excess capital, they’l just need to use it. Their best investment In the summer would be a new director of football.
