dreadful stuff today, wrong starting line up, poor tactics than seemed to consist entirely of booting the ball upfield for someone to chase. Substitions w*s* it was all a case of too little too late and we only ever started stringing some passes together during injury time. We looked a little better when Fryatt came on but what we saw today was the signs of a relegation battling team, not a promotion hunting one or even a mid table mediocrity one.

All of a sudden we have started doing the basic things wrong, players losing posession too easily. First things I would do, for me the starting line up has to be this..

WEALE

NEILSON MORRISON HOBBS BERNER

ADAMS KING WELLENS N'GUESSAN

WAGHORN FRYATT

Waghorn is obviously going to be missing a few games now so it will probably have to be Kermit upfront with Fryatt for atleast the time being.

Basically we need to drop Oakley, hes in poor form, Brown is in piss-poor form and Gallagher I still think is over rated. I think recalling Gradel back from Leeds wouldn't be such a bad idea either.

I think we have better players and a better management than when we were relegated. However, I think we played worse tonight than the team two years ago. If we had played like this at the start of the season I would have expected the worst

A gentleman near me reckoned we were better tonight than we were against Forest. Is he right?

I bet not to many had this score in the Prediction League.

SJN and Joe_ were the only people who predicted a 3-1 scoreline - but both of them said it would be City (of Leicester) who would get the 3.

MOUNTSORREL was the only person who predicted Bristol City would win. He deserves more than the single point which the rules allow.

absolute horseshit, long ball to waghorn all night. brown, mcgivern, oakley and n'guessan were crap, wellens and gallagher didnt have a kick in the second half, i'm still not convinced that king played tonight. a thoroughly miserable night :(

Did you even see the challenge? It was awful. Straight red, no doubt.

Agree with BG, out fans shouldn't have been cheering him, there's no place in the game for tackles like that.

Yes I did see it, it was almost in front of me. And I still maintain that the Brizzle's players reaction helped to get Waghorn sent off.
It was a bad tackle, but I really do think he went for the ball and didn't deliberately go for the player. It's not the tackle that pisses me off more, it's how their player writhed around, clutching his ankle...and yet with a bit of magic spray withing a few moments was back up on his feet. I hate it when our players bloody do it. If you ain't fecking hurt, don't act like you are just so you can get an oppo player booked/sent off.

Saying that...saw the 'highlights' on Sky a few mins ago... utter shite defending as first thought for the first two goals...didn't show Hobbs feck up for the third, but considering that all came about after a handball penalty appeal but the cameras only showed the last pass to the dutch lad to score might've been a blessing, didn't really want to see Hobbs faff about and get caught in possession again.

also wanted to see Wagga redcard again...but strangely the camera didn't 'see it'. Now I don't understand how it didn't cos if it had been following the play then it should've as that's where the bloody ball was. All we saw was the Brizzle player rolling around in mortal agony.

We can't afford to lose at the weekend in my opinion, if we do then I could see us getting pulled into a relegation battle, I honestly can't believe how unthreatening we looked tonight, pathetic to hear "fans" booing at the end and hardly anyone applaud the team off.

We do have a proven striker, but he was left on the bench today. When he came on he created a chance by turning a defender with his first touch of the ball. He then later scored.

The midfield is DEFINITELY our weakness.

Little perplexed by Robins saying 'it wasn't easy' for them. Bigging up his team I suppose, we were completely spineless.

Anyone hear the text sent in on RL? "Pearson should be sacked tomorrow, i'm never using my season ticket again, I drove 200 miles for this"

Beggars 2 questions?

1. Has this gentleman had a perspective bypass?

2. Why live 100 miles away, buy a season ticket and then complain about travelling?

P.S Oakley is currently the worst player at our club...

I'm extremely perplexed by it, seeing as how Robins is Barnsley's manager... :icon_wink

:icon_eek: :icon_redf Of course I meant Millen :tumbleweed:

Just saw the goals on SSN... awful. Made them look so much better than they were.

i am never watching us play whilst sober again

Crap... What a dissapointing result. The way the league has gone this year we can go and win our next matches. Worrying though our regular work horses Wellens, Hobbs Brown have put in poor performances.

The return of Tunchev and perhaps an Oakley replacement is needed.

Oh yeah............ forgot to mention Gallagher was shite as usual, and Lazzer left with about 15 mins to go.

Only because i was in fear of my life. I get this feeling im being watched by dark rotund figure in a long black leather trench coat ( well not that long) .
