Fans really are fickle, according to some we have gone from possible automatic promotion contenders and definitie play off contenders to possibly struggling to stay in the league in just over a month. I know the last two results have been disappointing but lets get some perspective.

I can totally see your point.

BUT

Like someone said before, its the manner of these defeats that hurts.

I would not have begrudged a few losses, but to have a complete transformation is not acceptable.

I cant sit here and say "Well i shouldnt have let myself get carried away because this was always going to happen".

Last night was one of the worst performances iv ever seen , the effort and determination levels were disgusting.

I wanted to get a kit on myself and show them how to put the effort in. :038:

I think Nige will make some big changes next game, and we'll get a win.

We were always going to suffer a blip at somepoint, hopefully it just doesn't last any longer.

Maybe it will prove useful in the long run, by making it abundantly clear that we DO need strengthening in January, and where we need those players.

I agree that the reaction to the last two results/performances has been OTT but, assuming that you accept the view that our midfield is the problem, how can NP make big changes: we do not have any alternative central midfield players.

I think it's no coincidence that the dip in performance has manifested itself following Oakley's return, so, maybe, therein lies the answer. :102:

I don't think that you can call these performances a big transformation. The Reading game gave us a good indication of just how vulnerable we can be. The home game versus Preston was also very poor. Then there was also the poor performance against an even poorer Derby side.

I think we've been fairly lucky so far this season and the pressure of the league position has got to the players a little bit. It was clear to see that they were lacking in confidence, especially in defence.

It's more important that Pearson can get the players back in the right frame of mind, rather than thinking about making drastic changes. He should make use of his fringe players to give some of the regulars a rest (i think that's what he was trying with Fryatt). The likes of king, Brown, Hobbs are now under big pressure and could do with a game on the sidelines some time soon.

Just on a side note, has our dip in form coincided with Howard's absence from the starting line-up? he seemed to start every game at the beginning of the season when we were doing well.

Agreed, he seems to be a complete waste of a place.

Nicky Adams please, even if just for a bit of bite and commitment.

Put Dyer back in on the left, Adams/N'Guessan on the right, and drop Oakley/King and the other one play with Wellens in the centre.

Neilson, Morrison, Hobbs, Berner in at the back.

Just being devil's advocate and dropping something in.

We have no choice but to stick with what we have got until January where i'm sure Milan will give him some money but....

He's been out for 18 months or so but could we do any worse than to give Clemance a run out or is that worse than keeping Oakley in??

I'm with Lako on the fact that i would like to see Nicky Adamss given a run out but it doesn't seem to be happening. Give Morrison a run out at Centre back until Tunch miraculously recovers by mid Jan ( fingers crossed)

Time to Get Gradel back too!!

Time for some important and ruthless decisions to be made by Pearson.

My team for Saturday would be:

Weale

Neilson
Hobbs
Morrison
Berner

Adams
Wellens
Oakley
Gradel

Fryatt
Waghorn

Subs
Pentney
Brown
McGivern
King
N'Guessan
Gallagher
Howard or Kermit

Waghorn gets a three match ban A-Z

And Oakley is a useless cock

I thought there is usually a seven day period before the ban kicks in??

Also no other options, either Oakley or King, similar to being given a choice of being a man sandwich between Colin and Justin or Kim Woodburn lowering her sweaty under carriage onto your face

Watching Matt Oakley play is about as much fun as having an extra arsehole to wipe. McGivern is ****ing crap. My 3 year old sister could do a better job that King and Wellens has been playing like a **** recently. Gallagher is a useless ****ing fairy too.

Why the **** Pearson hasn't been able to pick a regular side this season I don't know. He seems far too reactive and yes, he had to make changes after Saturday's debacle but they clearly weren't the right ones.

Last night was the most guttless load of wank I've had to watch in yonks.

Because (according to the Monday Moan-in), He's still a long way from a return to 1st team action.

(Personally, I think we've probably seen the last of him).

One of the worst Leicester performances I've seen in the last 18 months or so. Absolutely shocking.

Waghorn apart from stupid challenge at the end, was again the only player to come out of the game with any sort of credit after feeding scraps from our midfield for most of the game. However Gallagher for me, needs to grow a pair of balls.

Pearson is being let down by some of his senior players at the moment, in particular Brown and Oakley who were both horrendous last night and should seriously be considered to be dropped on Saturday. Wellens looked a shadow of his former self and as for Andy King, I cannot remember him touching the ball or making any sort contribution last night. Do not know what NP thinks he brings to the side but I along with a few thousand other City fans certainly do not see it !!

Blatantly obvious last night that we need to be playing wingers as at the minute we are playing with no width and aren't hurting the opposition with our hoof up the pitch. Priority in the January transfer window has to be a centre half with pace, a creative central midfielder and another striker being a must.

This is NP first real test as LCFC manager but I certainly have faith in him to sort it.

I wish they wouldn't play it at all. It's penis
