Creditable performance over all. We were lucky with the Gray penalty to take it into extra time - would have been furious if something like that had been given against us. Thought the second half and extra time was pretty even. We all knew we wouldn't win the shoot out - time for bed.

All in all there were many positives. Maguire was exceptional throughout and I thought Mahrez and Vardy were superb when they came on as was Gray. Amartey was very good at RB and deserves a starting place against Manchester United.

Negatives? Well aside from the result and our 2 best players being incapable of taking proper penalties, Dragovic was frightening every time the ball came near him, Chilwell struggled to pass a ball and as for Fuchs, the shittest of shit performances.

I'm not too disappointed, we did okay. The opportunity wasn't missed in the shootout, it was missed with a spineless starting eleven. Had we started with the team that finished the 90m, we'd have won that game.

A tough way to go out, but Hamer never looked like saving one whilst Bravo guessed right apart from the Maguire pen. That said, on another day the Mahrez shot which came back off him could’ve fallen to Vardy to smash in. Great effort - thought the team grew into the game with MoM Maguire. King and Iborra gave us as good as they got but there is a marked difference from our subs. One thing is clear. Puel wants attacking full backs. If Simpson isn’t the answer, Amartey certainly isn’t.
