In the last few minutes Norwich had decided to settle for a 0-0 draw so well done to Great Caesar for his change in tactics. One of the features of this season has been Mr Ranieri's tactical astuteness.
Amartev was thrown in an the deep end and I was concerned he would find it too much. He looked nervous and slightly out of place compared with the other three defenders. In time he may be better than Simpson but I like defenders to be battle hardened. It should be said that Huth, Morgan and Fuchs are battle hardened and were superb.
It was pleasing to see Schlupp back on the bench. I prefer him to Dyer - for one thing he is better defensively though this was not important yesterday. A fullback would have to be very good to keep Jeff out of the team and of course Fuchs is that good. I also prefer him to Grey and Chilwell. I have not seen much of them but they appear to be talented and their time will hopefully come. As Great Caesar likes to say "Slowly slowly".
Mr Stowell has had a poor season disappointing his fans with an almost zen like calm. It is pleasing to say that he was back on form yesterday especially in the first half. When Albrighton was chopped down twice in succession Mr Angry "expressed his concern" to the Norwich bench.
