Wow! ...just about recovered from my heart attack when it occurred to me that every win takes us closer to Gary Linker's pants!

Hope they're not the famous world cup pants

That is why I love football: last time out, gutted by a last minute goal in a game where we weren't expected to get anything - this time an "easy" game and we're ecstatic at a last minute winner. I know it's corny and it's already been said but, "the mark of Champions is..." (I still daren't even dream that, however!)

And a reminder to feel the ecstasy as much as the pain.

People actually think Schlupp was decent, christ.

Towards the end of the last game I was all set for a draw. I was resigned to a 0-0 today with a few mins left too.
Anyhow. Pointwise, I'd sooner have a loss and a victory than two draws.

I expect a few more games like today before the end of the season.

I think we should get used to that sort of game, especially at home. The opposition now respects us more, and they have first hand experience of how we play, and lots of videos of us. And as the pressure builds our players will be a bit more nervous and less fluent. The same happened to Chelsea last season.

I would gladly be nose-close to Gary Linekers pants and the contents within to be Premier League Champions. Actually you probably don't want to know what I'd do to achieve this. Homer this is definitely your area.
