One of the things that concern me when I watch City this season, is that they are too easily bullied. Forest are not the first team to have won by far the greater number of 50:50 balls. Even our well built players, such as Faes and Okoli are moved aside far too easily.

Yes, again, I agree and we said the same, hence my “men against boys” comment. They looked physically stronger than us.

I saw pretty much what I expected. I was optimistic at half time but that didn't last.

Forest are a middling side. We're below middling. They'll finish around halfway, for us it's the same scenario as it was before a ball was kicked. 17th will be an excellent season.

The bottom 3 or 4 have to remain shite & West Ham have to fail to notice what a ****ing fraud Lopetegui is. That's what'll keep us up.
We haven't fully deserved either of our wins & we didn't deserve a point from the Spurs game either. We've been lucky. Defensively we are an utter shitshow, so were going to have to score 2 in every game to get a win most weeks. This season is going to feel about 3 years long.

Strap in. It's going to be ****ing ugly.

Still, cheer up eh? We're Leicester City. This is what it's been like for most of our lives really. We just got spoilt for a few years is all.

We got the Xmas present we dreamed of a couple of times. First we got a Ferrari with a Hollywood starlet sat in the passenger seat, half naked, smiling at us.
A few years later we got a Lexus with that girl from the pub we always had a thing for sat in it, also half naked, also smiling.

Now it's back to the socks & pants & "something practical"

Sic Transit Gloria Mundi & all that.

As much as we were poor in the second half, Forest were excellent. Anytime Fatawu or Mav got the ball, 3 defenders immediately stifled them. Buonanotte gave the ball away for the first and Winks for the second while the third was a joke.

Starting with Ricardo and both Fats and Mav with JJ at left back to appease the fans was a failed experiment. Hopefully never to be repeated.

So we should never repeat the setup that worked so well for us in the first half?

Don't talk wibble.

There was nothing wrong with the system or personnel choices, they worked, which is exactly why Forest decided to change their approach in the second half; because we were on top. If our manager had bothered to react to their changes by going to a back 5 we'd have been much better. Instead, he sat and watched on while they did whatever they wanted and then made inexplicable substitutions.

We weren't that great in the first half. We just about contained them and matched them. That's about all.

Which is better than in nearly every single other first half we have played. We also scored an exceptionally well worked goal. And we could have and possibly should have been another goal to the good.

Apart from that though....

Really good watching Stevie Coopers leaving do.

Where's your ill thought out confidence.

Do you mean that one post that said we'd win?

You don't care about it anyway so why are you on here with your cock in your hand?

Of course I care about us winning you silly boy.
And why the anger.....

Like I said. We don't need to remember it as you do it for us.

Must say though that the remembrance tribute was absolutely spot on. Full marks !

You are hanging on the comments of a tiny number of posters. I wouldn't waste your time if I were you. I'd imagine you've got better things to do?

I will occasionally have a look at the Forest forum to see some of the other sides views, of which many can be ridiculous. I can't be arsed to sign up and waste my breath in replying though.

Forest are a fairly decent premier league outfit now. You should be pleased and hope that you can sustain it.

there are some who have stated that SC played Madividi and Fatawu on purpose to prove a point, and that may be true, the disappointment is that the players had a real opportunity to prove their manager wrong, they blew it and all it took was bottle and effort.

SC appeared to have no rescue plan last night and imo has done the same throughout the season. If our midfield cannot maintain that level of intensity then swap it out at 65 mins to keep the energy levels up.

Faes blunder took the game from us, at 2-1 it is still up for grabs and Nunez can't shut up shop. Still seething and baffled as to how a team can continue to start each half in such a blasé attitude.

Perhaps I'm imagining it but I seem to think that other teams come out for the second half, like Forest did, and do a short burst of physical activity to gee themselves up whereas we jog out and that's about it. Could explain our lethargic starts.
