That 2nd half performance is in inexplicable.

Buonanante must release the ball quicker, you cannot dribble your way through every one at this level.

we gifted them 3 goals and deserved that. Winks was really wasteful tonight and it hurt us time and time again.

Faes take a bow son that really was the comical and was the biggest piss poor performance I have seen for a long long time.

now to football intelligence, we have none literally none. Why did Madividi and Fatawu not switch sides? Nunez went to a back 5 and our solution was to play through the middle. The players can not think on their feet, the perfect example was when Vardy headed back across the box, not one Leicester player checked their run they all literally ran in a straight line towards the goal.

Why is it when we work the opportunity to cross the ball we cut back inside? probably because we have wingers on the wrong side which inverts their attacking play. When you are up against players that are 6 foot plus stop crossing the ball in the air.

Vardy's goal was the case in point, when the ball is played between the keeper and the defender it causes havoc, our wingers could not do that tonight because they were both on the wrong side of the pitch.

The most concerning part on behalf of the players was watching their drop it was gutless and is not a good sign.

Really good going forward first half, let down by some shoddy defending. I'd argue we were comfortably the better team. Second half was all about the shoddy defending and Forest switched to a back 5 which nullified our attacking threat.

I mean this defence is just piss poor. First goal Bounanotte's inexoerience combined with James Justin **** up of a clearance. Second goal Fatawu and Winks not on on the same wavelength and the whole defence just sort of backs off the ensuing Forest attack. Third goal what more can be said other than Wout Farce strikes again.

**** knows what's going on with James Justin this year. He can't defend for shit. Worst bit is the two that didn't play in Vestergaard and Kristiabsson are also fkin terrible at this level....

Let’s not completely shit ourselves eh?

6 points from last 3 games. Two of which were against relegation rivals and we won the important ones

We can play with quality for 40 minutes but it does go for the other 50.

Cooper has work to do but there are positive signs. I’d be interested to see Vestergaard given a go. He seems less prone to errors like the ones we have seen tonight, but that could easily be my mind biasing.

3 results on the bounce would have been unthinkably impressive. What belief it would have given. At HT I still believed it was possibility.

One poor half shouldn’t influence a season, I however just saw our aggression and will evaporate. It’s glaringly obvious that we don’t have sufficient quality in the squad.

I’m not convinced SC is making well thought out substitutions. However I’m not sure what I think should have been changed 2nd half, two many poor performances.

This is probably the thing that worries me the most. Our 2 central defenders are so shite that we're hoping that Vestergaard is the answer. Spanked away a shitload on Skipp and that other midfield bloke who I can't be arsed to remember what he's called.......yet defensively we've got nowt and there's no cover for vardy.

We needed to go to a back 5.

Therein lies the problem

A second hslf of gutless, clueless surrender

Lets s just blame the players, shall we...

That was horrible.

I cannot understand why Cooper dumps a system that wins us two in a row to play silly buggers with last seasons way of setting up. It was insanity. Especially against a team that is set up to exploit a half arsed, piss poor, midfield wankathon.

Why?

****ing fuming. Forest could have had 7-8 tonight because we did the same thing over and over. Play about at the back, move it into midfield, overplay, lose the ball, and then scramble to avoid conceding.

Again and again we did it.

Both wingers were ****ing awful. Fatawu showed exactly why he can't start games. Mavididi looked slow and lacking in technique.

Our defending was atrocious but those defenders were exposed repeatedly because the manager made a catastrophic error of judgement. I'm sick.

Yep, as I expected. Fatawu cannot start. He was shit.

We were far too exposed. Tonight needed Skipp, Ayew etc. we needed to play ugly as opposed to expansive.

Did you prefer being two down at HT against Southampton or one all with Forest? It was working perfectly well for 45 minutes.

There was nothing wrong with the system; that was probably our best half of football. It went wrong when they changed their system and we did absolutely nothing at all to try and combat it.

There's only one person who needs to make those decisions.

You're trying to play expert because you have been an advocate of our ridiculous approach to games thus far but in truth, we were much better in the first half than we have been for most of the season. The problem was three inexplicable mistakes and a manager who failed to react to their tactical changes.

Pretty much spot on there. I mean it was great management from them. Nuno saw we were having the better time of it and even with the scores level, opted to change things up. Many managers would be tempted to leave it be in that scenario....

I think first half our play was superb but this entire defence is just not good enough for this level IMO and Cooper was out thought tactically in that second half.

That's your opinion. I thought we flattered to deceive in the first half and Forest, had they been anything better than entirely mediocre, would have pounded us.

We constantly give the ball away when we try to play through a PL side. It's that simple. We're not good enough and never will be with this group of players.

We can look good for three of four passes but then we will make a mistake. It's inevitable and Forest just had to wait for us to oblige. It's unbelievably naive.

You can get away with this shit against inferior players at a lower level but it's never going to work in the PL.

Better teams than Forest would absolutely kill us playing like we did tonight.

Yep, 100%.

Fatawu will be back on the bench next game. Ayew will be back in winning fouls. This season is all about trying to scrap and fight. It's certainly not about trying to play open expansive attacking football.

not shitting myself at all, tonight was immensely frustrating and we made Forest look much better than they were. Hopefully the players learn from that.
we are where I expected us to be, thankfully those below us have been worse. We have problems defensively hopefully SC can resolve it, the fact we seem to only turn up for one half is disturbing?

Yep. Absolutely the manager’s fault. I was in no way suggesting otherwise. I am at a loss as to what I would have done as there was a collective drop in performance.

Yeah our centre backs were exposed but they also made horrendous basic errors.

I’m fckd off with the result but worried about the performance.

That's your opinion. And it's nonsense. We were the better team in the first half and we played some lovely football.

Unfortunately, Nuno saw that as well otherwise he wouldn't have made the changes he did. Those changes ultimately won them the game because our manager had no idea how to respond.

Like I say, which first half would you have preferred, this one or our first halves against Spurs, Everton, Fulham, Southampton and Walsall? It's ridiculous to suggest we weren't much better tonight than we have been previously.unfortunately, Cooperball took over in the second half and it all went to shit. Again.

What we need, is to cut out the individual errors and for our manager to be able to respond quickly and effectively to other managers' tactical changes. At the very least, we need our manager to get us playing for more than 30 to 40 minutes a game because that kind of shit will drag us quickly into a relegation scrap.

We were always going to be in a relegation scrap. 100%

Probably best to try and do more to avoid making it a foregone conclusion then. You know, by playing football for the length of a game or managing your squad properly. Those types of things.

The truth is that we'd be doing better under a more talented manager.
