Seeing Sevilla fans in the club shop buying LCFC replica shirts and mini kits for their kids...

A lot of them were stealing them too. As I went into the shop they were pushing their way out past shop staff and police and stewards were being scrambled to prevent further losses.

To quote Craig Shakespeare in his post match interview:

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition:
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here

They moved St Crispin's Day?

The only negative from last night was the sight of a fan getting CPR for a good ten minutes at the side of the pitch. The work done by the nurse and paramedics was every bit as extraordinary as anything from those on the pitch.

Great news to hear the following:

My mate was visibly effected by this when I met him after the game.
He said it happened right in front of him and there was a whole collection of medical professionals and others trying to help the guy. Nice to know there's a happy end.

Not all good news though as I also heard that one of our jobsworth stewards was giving grief to a couple, who were Sevilla fans, but sitting in the home section. The woman was talking quite a bit in Spanish, but neither of them were causing problems or giving it large so other than the fact they were away fans there was no reason to chuck them out. They did stay.

It does beg a question though, where did they got their tickets? Possibly a couple of plastics who cashed in on getting money for their tickets, as it wouldn't have been the Club doing it.

The tickets were on general sale for several days so I can't imagine it would have been that hard if they were reasonably early

Last night Kasper achieved greatness.

It is good to hear about families enjoying the game together. When todays youngsters are middle aged they will see Wes Morgan and Robert Huth brought out at half time and they will tell their children what warriors those frail old men used to be.
