I don't think anyone has answered any critics today, it was just one win, in the same way as the few losses didn't mean any players were actually shit and should be sold. We swing from one to the other as Leicester fans, and it's getting my goat up.
I'm glad to see somebody actually talking sense. Thoughts of any of our players receiving scores of 8 and 9 for yesterday's performances are clearly nonsense. We finished off very poor opposition and we did it efficiently and convincingly and that's about all there is to say.
I thought where we did show an improvement over our recent efforts was that we had a proper shape and that we maintained it throughout the game. Even though Dyer didn't play well, he gave us plenty of width and with Oakley staying wide on the other side, the middle two had plenty of space to work in and seemed to develop a better understanding between them.
Still worrying a little about the visit to Cardiff though; if there's not a vast further improvement, we're going to have to hope that chopra&co have an off-day. And as for blow-in-the-wind Leicester fans - I've become used to them over the years.
Have to disagree ted. yes it was a big improvement from tuesday night, but its still wasn't a top performance. I reckon even TBFC could've nicked a win against Wednesday!
i realise this now, i was skim reading your post and missed its sarcastic tone :icon_winkI wasn't being serious mate.
The manager said: "You just don't know which side will turn up and that's the trouble. We're like chalk and cheese.
"We made it easy for Leicester with some poor defending and you can't afford to do that. All we can do is dust ourselves down and prepare for the next game.
"But right now, I'm hurting, the supporters are hurting and I really feel for them. I feel for my staff and everyone at the football club.
"At the start of the season, we were playing some of the best football I have seen as a manager and that is the most frustrating thing."
He knew yesterday from our singing :icon_lol:Brian Laws has been sacked after yesterday.
I think Laws one of if not the longest serving manager in the Championship after 3 years there. I'd say that he's unlucky to lose his job but Sheff Wed did look genuinly crap rather than just out of form.
Sounded pretty clued up, if I remember right.
Obviously takes after his mother
The body language when he made those first two substitutes as well was rather fascinating.
I think some call it 'losing the dressing room'.
Johnson's reaction to being subbed said a lot too, he just stared at Laws for about 30 seconds before even moving!
