:038::038::038: Some of the best fans ive ever seen, doing conga lines and Mexican waves when you are 4-0 down is great stuff, good on em. Grew a big soft spot for their fans today, hope they stay up, however unlikey

And MA waving when the fans sang "Mad dog give us a wave at 4-0 down" :081:

Overall, one of the most enjoyable games ive been to in ages. Fantastic stuff, we completely battered them.

The fans were brilliant! And so were ours, singing for them. The congas were hysterical. The best set of fans I've ever seen at the Walkers or Filbo.

Every one of the team played well today, so any fears about complacency proved unfounded. Very entertaining match all round with us playing some really inspired football thanks to Gradel, Cleverley and Oakley in particular.

An easy game, that at times looked like training ground, and Mad Dog was madder than ever, and is looking quite sectionable at times. Also Nigel Pearson kept smiling. That shocked me. :)

An entertaining men against boys encounter. All well made and taken goals against a team that would have been outclassed by some non league teams.

In the opening exchanges, the sight of a looming bald attacking midfielder probing for a nippy black striker (Low & Hammond) reminded me of Zidane and Henry when the French were at their best. However, within about 3 minutes they had reverted to the gormless clowns we remember.

Oakley bossed the game today. And Cleverley came of age as a City player. At last NP made unenforced changes - and they worked.

The season is as good as over now. We could put in Cheltenhemesque performances for the next 10 games and still go up. It's a done deal.

Oakley's goal was ****ing beautiful! One of the best this season simply because of the passing and the composure.

Gradel looked really good today, and i'm glad Nige has dropped Dyer simply because it may be the kick up the arse he needs to get back on form. Pearson needs to rotate the two to get the best out of them, the way some teams play will suit Dyer and vice versa with Gradel. Chuffed to bits for Gradel, their right back was terrified of him!

Yep, fantastic. Cleverley's goal was an excellent George Best esque goal too, yes im into hyperbole, but it was such a great game

I can't believe that their defence let Cleverley make exactly the same run in off the right twice:icon_lol: but yeah lovely goal, and a fine cross from Clev to set up Howard's goal.

I took my little boy to his first game today. Not a bad choice of a game!
Very pleasing performance, game & result. Oakley and Cleverley ran the show. Oakley was probably MOM but the latter deserves a mention for being really up for it and when he scored his goal he was absolutely ecstatic. I was pleased for him. As another poster said, he looked like he came of age today.
The first attacks came through probing runs and dribbles by Gradel. He was good and dangerous for much of the game. King was effective and the defence looked ok, Morrison especially. I would have named Hobbs above Morrison because he stopped more of the few balls that Cheltenham pumped forward, but his distribution was so poor it lets him down. However against this shower, you hardly noticed and it certainly didn't count.
Howard was very, very good too.
Walking out the ground, Cheltenham fans were chanting "that's why you're top of the league" and even "we love you Leicester, we do.." I've never seen anything like it. Mental. Mad dogettes. This game wil be a fond memory for me, on many levels.

Where did Cleverley play today? Centre, or on the right with Oakley in the centre? Or did they just swap around a lot?

Consty, please. You're posting on an internet forum, nobody wants to read more than a couple of sentences.
If you must go with a dissertation, at least break it up into manageable paragraphs, please, please, please.

Seriously, nobody makes it past the first line.

****ing cracking, my first home game in a while and it was well worth booting the lass out of bed to travel down :icon_bigg

Oakley's goal was top notch, though the calm approach to our attack made the build up look ridiculously slow but quality

Very good performance again today. I thought all 4 goals were outstanding to be fair but oakleys was the highlight for me. Gradel was good, fryatt, king and howard were steady. I thought cleverley was excellent but oakley was outstanding. To me he is the best signing we have made in a long while.

Hobbs and morrison look more composed with each other every game and i am confident with these two in the championship alongside tunchev.

Nice to finally meet a member from here too today good speaking to you Boc

I'm still in shock.

A proper centre just asking to be headed home, not a hopeful lump into the middle. I can't remember the last time I saw anything similar.

Sorry Macky but I don't agree. I read Consty's piece with great interest. Any description of the game that is one line is going to be superficial. I want to know what other Forum members thought about Gradel as a replacement for Dyer, whether other people were as impressed by Cleverly as I was and whether the disallowed goal really was offside. If I wanted something superficial I would buy The Sun,

Right wing. Brilliantly. Once swapped with Gradel on the left, and that worked, too.

We had width, distribution, and superb crosses.

Class.

<is this OK Macky? I hope I didn't challenge your information processing skills?>
