Sorry Macky but I don't agree. I read Consty's piece with great interest. Any description of the game that is one line is going to be superficial. I want to know what other Forum members thought about Gradel as a replacement for Dyer, whether other people were as impressed by Cleverly as I was and whether the disallowed goal really was offside. If I wanted something superficial I would buy The Sun,

As I've said to Consty innumerable times, if it has to be information overload, at least make it manageable and readable.
I'm not requesting a one line, superficial post, I just don't want to look at a huge block of unreadable text.

is this OK Macky? I hope I didn't challenge your information processing skills?

Perfectly readable B... and not in f**king French.

BTW, if there was a medical reason for my challenged information processing skills would you be more sympathetic?

I am totally sympathetic. Sometimes people don't know the value of small chunks, and white space with AD/HD and autistic spectrum, and alternative cognitions, generally.

OK?

Graphic and verbal overload is a bugga.

Let's all use white space, and small chunks, and no bleeding French...........

:)

Too feckin right.

My mate Vinny has Asperger's and deals with long winded docs by taking sentences and pasting them into individual cells in a spreadsheet, with each cell in a different font colour. Only then can make sense out of it.

Whether that's because of his Asperger's or because he's as mad as binbag full of hens is up for debate though.

I like Vinny. Binbags full of hens appeal to me, although it's a bit dystopic and crazy.

But can we agree on white space, small chunks, while we sort out these spreadsheets and egg-layers?

It may take some time..........

He's defo not dystopic, crazy yeah, dystopic not a chance. Comes in for a lot of stick for his use of Excel, which doesn't seem to phase him at all, God love him.

An excellent poker player as well he is, although a little formulaic. Unreadable but very predictable.

And anyway... put everything in a big block is just ugly, and doesn't make it inviting to read.

Make things easy, and people might get past the first line.

I doubt anyone's got as far as this line though, because people are THAT lazy

I think some of us were quite happy when we were top of the Premiership, even though we knew it was a false position.

Or perhaps when we waltzed back there under Adams? casting aside teams in a division higher with similar ease to now?

Still think King looks a bit lightweight in the middle. He was ok today when he had time on the ball against a non-existent midfield from cheltenham but usually his passes are rushed/fluffed when under pressure and he doesn't like to put his foot in.

We'll need a midfield with more bite in the championship next season.

Thanks David.
I think Macky underestimates readers.
I concede that I might have put in a space after one or two of the paras, instead of proceeding directly underneath, but it wasn't that long a post so I still don't think it really mattered that much. It was hardly a blow by blow account of the whole match and of each player. I think & hope that I gave a flavour.
I take it from you that I did, so thanks again.

Any suggestions as to who could do a job for us?

someone young and eager like davies was (and not some ageing injury prone midfielder who's going to bottle it when the going gets tough - not thinking of anyone in particular who's on our treatment bench:mad:)

Don't own championship manager so have no stupid names to put forward. But do know we need to strength midfield and our attacking options.

Glad to hear Cleverley had a good game, as i was really impressed with him at Walsall and was a bit dissapointed when he went of the boil after. Also well done NP for finally dropping Dyer.

cheltenham a joke team - kettering are a better side.
great game to watch for a laugh though.
agree that we need new centre mid when promoted.
