Hopefully this match is a sign that the side is getting close to full fitness as we were able to press them for the whole match.

Amazing what happens when we attack one of the big teams, rather than just bend over and wait to be shafted.

And Iheanacho has to start every match. He has been criminally under used so far this season.

Onwards and upwards.

Oh, and ****ing Pawson FFS

I counted four or five potential yellows for Matic, and three for Pogba

Hopeless twat
Him letting play continue when Wan-Bissaka took out Castagne in the build-up to our third goal, and handing him the yellow card afterwards, outweighs any mistakes he may have had during the game. Excellent refereeing.

I have acted with zero humility after that game.

I have given both barrels to any characterless **** who supports Manchester United with an LE post code.

Boring, wankers
That'll get you called a moralising wanker on this website.

Just watched the highlights. Our H is even nominally at fault for the Vardy goal. He just leaves Vardy right at the worst possible time.

So just to summarise:

1. Sloppily dispossessed on edge of his own area for the first

2. A really poor header from the corner for the second

3. Leaves Vardy utterly alone on the penalty spot for the 3rd

4. Standing around like a ****ing 500 year oak for the 4th

What a performance. Legend.

Apparently, Alan Birchenall took ill at the match and was taken away by ambulance to the hospital at half time.

Twitter reporting a comment from his son that he's staying in overnight but they don't think it's serious.

I saw him before the game, as I often do. He seemed his usual self, so hopefully it’s not too serious.

I never bought into the lad being great.... Still think he's lacking. That said he showed a touch of class when we won the cup and he congratulated our lot. Hope he continues to wear clown shoes against us in all future games.

Just got back after a day to remember. Sat down to watch it all again.

Brilliant to a man, United were very poor and helped, but that pressure and forward thinking is what we need from now on.

I will say I was disappointed with the fans that boo Maddison relentlessly before the match, every time his name was mentioned in the lineup. I also really didn’t like the jadon sancho, marcus rashford ‘let down your country chant’. Maybe I’m being too soft, but I feel it’s entirely unnecessary.

A mere side note on a brilliant performance that I was lucky to be at. Gutted I missed the 5-3 all those years ago now, but this one felt special too.

Just watching it all again on Sky game of the day

It’s very lovely - can’t wait to see who wins…..
