Well done City. Cracking result. I hope we continue the goalfest on Tuesday. We need to perform like that week in week out. Desire, workrate and quality on the ball

And ****ing crap opponents ;)

Indeed, as good as today's performance was, and you can only beat what is in front of you, they were fecking woeful in the first half.

I even thought they had a bit of bad luck really. Gallacher's first goal and Waghorn's being the prime examples but they were on the whole piss poor.

First time I have ever seen us smack five past someone live, Gallacher's free kick and header were both beauties.

Solano looked a class act and he very rarely gave the ball away. Equally thought Yann was hungry, showed some good touches and won every header. Wellens was the best he'd been in ages.

Who saw the 4th official?

What an ugly old bint! I would say even John Terry would not fiddle with that.

Agree 100% with that.

Thought Dyer had a cracking game today too, MOTM alongside Gallagher for me.

They came and had a little bit of a go and it was an open game. That was their downfall really. Donny probably aren't a much better team but them kept things tight and stale whereas Scunthorpe were open so players like Dyer, Waggy and Gally could do what they wanted.

We do need to remember how poor Scunthorpe were before getting too excited. Gally wont get an easier game to get a trick. Next three games are the real tests. Hope for 4 points out of nine minimum!!

The confidence now will be immense, given that we had no Fryatt.

Also hats of to Pearson for changing the system...i think many of us have known all the time that we can actually play a bit.

I turned to my mate at one point and said 'Its a fact that Nolberto Solano has only ever given the ball away twice in his career'. I would've gone mental if that long range strike had fizzed in.

I think it's very reassuring to see what Gallagher's capable of when played in the right position. His finishing was excellent, particularly with the first goal, and it was nice to witness Leicester score five goals for the first time in my life!

I wanted Yann to take the free-kick though. You just can't help but chant Solano's name with a Geordie accent.

I can't believe Yann didn't pull trigger when he had that chance on his left foot!

He was aiming for the other corner till it took a massive deflection off the defender! :icon_lol:

Teeno(remember him-not a teenager anymore though 21 next week!) had 5-1 at 66/1.

We were hoping to see another goal so we could laugh at him afterwards........

Anyhoo it was an adequate performance.........bit boring second half though.

Off to upload the pics.(Oh and one of Kermit without his top on whoop!)

Agreed. Fair play with the header and free kick though. He should score more goals. Today, I hope, is the start of Gally getting into double figures!!

:bang:He changed the system a few games ago, we've been 451/433 for around 4 games.
