Malky might be available soon. A section of our fans think we should sack him in the summer and get an experienced Prem manager in.
You couldn't make it up.

You couldn't make it up.

I think he should sack you and get a more experienced Premiership side.

No, I thought we were naming managers we'd never get but would quite like to see here.

I don't think it is necessarily that outrageous an idea, based on:

1) The Scottish prem is shite and for a few years it will remain so while Rangers languish in the lower reaches. Even with their return it will still be shite.
2) Winning a title in the current league is akin to winning a game of solitaire.
3) He may not be happy in Scotland with the recet prejudice shown towards him.
4) He played for us in one of our most recent successful periods.
5) He could get us into the Premier League.
6) We could probably better his wages.
7) It is marginally less wet down in Leicester.

What was his record like when they actually had competition in the league? Without looking at any records, I think he's been average for them, aside from the amazing run in this year's Champions League.

There is a very easy game being played whereby, one asks, "Who would you bring in as manager?"

Answer: "Martin O'Neill" - You're an idiot, he would never come!
"Mark Hughes" - He's rubbish, what proof have you that he would win the league?

As has already been said, the board will decide whether to sack Nigel Pearson and with whom they would then replace him. We "plebs" may have personal favourites to take the role but cannot know whether these people are interested and the "He's not interested/isn't good enough" argument is a simple, non-thinking way of pooh-poohing any suggestion.
