I actually thought that Derby looked a decent side. The thing that really worked for us was the work-rate of the midfield, Danns, Yuki, Fernandes and Kingy must have covered miles.

Agreed. Until we scored the first, although we were on top, Derby had looked alright. We just played very, very well today

Totally agree about the work rate. All four of the midfielders got all over. Danns and Fernandes especially for me.

Kasper 9 - as good as Hart, on this showing I agree. His confidence and authoritative display gives so much confidence to the back four.

Peltier 7 - steady
Mills 8 - non nonsence display, not a great passer but a great stopper on this showing.
Bamba 8 - so casual and so good
konchesky 8 - superb dynamic performance

Abe 8 - great engine, great ball retention
Fernandes 7.5 - great great engine, good ball retention
King 8 - a real threat running in behind and always looking dangerous
Danns 8 - great great engine, deserved a goal and showed how much he wants a starting place

Vassell 7.5 - tireless work-rate and clever ball retention in tight spaces
Nugent 8 - great first goal, good work rate and a great first touch allowing us to keep possession

One of the commentators mentioned it takes time to get an expensive bunch of players to play as a team. Cameras then skipped to three/four players - These were all frees other than Gelson who we haven't bought anyhoo. Not sure how intentional that was but it made me laugh.

Just because they didn't cost a transfer fee doesn't mean they're not expensive.
