Not a huge Kasper fan myself, especially on crosses/set pieces. He back pedals far too much.

That said, has played a huge part in our success and deserves his #1 role.

People saying he looks fat weren't paying attention last season. He's been portly (for a pro) for a while.

He's easily the best keeper we have had since Flowers.

From what little I've seen of Zieler, he gives me the jitters. Not particularly fond of the whole sweeper keeper routine. In general I just felt like he was prone to a mistake, there were a few times where he'd make a save or catch and then inexplicably drop it.....

Unlike Kasper who can't catch or come for corners so just doesn't bother.

I've said before that I think Schmeichel has deteriorated as a keeper in his time with us. His best season was the first one.

That said, his influence on and off the pitch is huge and any replacement would have to be clearly superior to usurp him.

From what I've seen, Zieler is not clearly superior.

Didn't he have a "reasonably" good season last season?

No, not really.

He was exceptionally well protected last season but I'd say that most other Premier League keepers were/are technically superior.

As with the PSG game, when we defend well, he looks good and when we don't, he looks pretty dodgy.
