as you say you can add anyone eligible to the B list at short notice
 
So what we are saying is that even if we did want to play our ressies we couldn’t?

At some point we are going to have to completely sacrifice a fixture to recuperate.

We can play some of our kids, if we register them the day before the game.

"A player may be registered on List B if he is born on or after 1 January 1999 and has been eligible to play for the club concerned for any uninterrupted period of two years since his 15th birthday by the time he is registered with UEFA. Players aged 16 may be registered on List B if they have been registered with the participating club for the previous two years without interruption."

but due to the way Beaglehole manages the U23s we'd have to dip into the U18s (though this might actually be a blessing in disguise)
 
So tonight might have been the sacrifice and we're going balls deep for the Euro thing? That'd explain it.
 
I’m going to spend 90 minutes reading the rules about squad registration on Thursday night, it’ll be more exciting than the game.
