Any ideas on where to park and walk a short distance? Can you still park at the gas works and do they charge?

Driving, and bringing your kid, I guess that means I won't see you at the pub then. The scandinavian branch is coming over for the annual trip. There'll be a handing over of the Player of the Year trophy before the game.

Leicester Rowing Club on Upperton Rd, next to the Liberty statue charges £8, there may be some limited street parking which should be free as it's a Sunday (watch out for residents parking areas) or there's loads of places on the Freeman's Common industrial estate that open up their car parks for a fee ... about a fiver I think, in aid of MS charity.

Free beer and doughnuts...

Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha will invite Leicester City supporters to celebrate his birthday at Sunday’s visit of Southampton – with free beer and doughnuts on the Chairman!

On the eve of his birthday, Mr. Vichai has laid on a free Singha Beer and Krispy Kreme doughnuts for every Foxes fan attending the match against the Saints at King Power Stadium.

After a two-week international break, Barclays Premier League action returns to Filbert Way on Sunday, with City aiming to strengthen their position at the top of the table with seven games to go.

And the Blue Army will be hoping the day finishes as sweetly as it will start, as the Chairman says thank you to the Foxes faithful for their consistently fantastic support throughout the season.

Susan Whelan, Leicester City’s Chief Executive, said:“This is another very generous gesture from the owners of the Club. Mr. Vichai and Top will arrive to the UK for the game versus Southampton this weekend, and then return to Thailand on Sunday evening, just to be with us and to support the team on Sunday.
“There are many special bonds that exist at our Football Club – between the players, the staff, the owners and the fans – and that’s been vital to the incredible season we’ve had. Everywhere we go, people are talking about it.
“We’re entering the run-in to the end of the season now, so that bond is going to be as important as it’s ever been in the next seven games, and the support of our fans is an essential part of the final push.”

Complimentary bottles of Singha Beer or bottled water (one per ticket holder) and Krispy Kreme doughnuts (one per ticket holder) will be vended on the production of a valid home match ticket from designated collection points directly outside King Power Stadium from 11am until 1pm.

Alcoholic drinks will be available strictly to those aged 18 and over, while bottled water will also be available as an alternative. Stadium turnstiles will open at 12noon.

Branded drinks collection points can be found at:
- Between Turnstiles 31 & 32 (servicing East Stand)
- Between Turnstiles 20 & 21 (servicing the South Stand)
- Between the City Fanstore and shirt printing unit (servicing North Stand and turnstiles 1-6)
- Turnstiles 7 & 12 (servicing other West Stand areas)

Branded Krispy Kreme collection points can be found at:
- Outside the City Fanstore front entrance
- In the South East corner outside Sub Ticket Office 2

Make sure you arrive at King Power Stadium before the offer closes at 1pm. No free drinks or doughnuts will be vended to supporters after this time.

Please note:
A complimentary bottle of Singha Beer or bottle of water plus a Krispy Kreme doughnut will be vended on the production of a valid home match ticket for the Barclays Premier League fixture between Leicester City and Southampton on Sunday 3 April, 2016.

Strictly one drink/doughnut per match ticket. Offer only valid on Sunday 3 April, 2016. Please look for the posters to see which service points you can collect your free drink from.

ALL COMPLIMENTARY ITEMS MUST BE CLAIMED BY 1PM.

I know there are a couple of people on this forum that live in Manchester (someone replied to a comment previous but damned if I remember who and I can't find it). I am going to Norwegian Blue with a couple of friends on Sunday for the match. Would be good to meet a few people there!
